Brief Biography
Amber Dolphin is a freelance musician in the Madison area. She has been teaching privately for the last 12 years and performing for longer than that in area symphonies. Ms. Dolphin loves all styles of music especially classical, fiddle, jazz and Latin. Currently she is teaching privately from her home, through Music con Brio at Emerson Elementary School and performing with Quinteto Yzafa (tango), Charanga Agozá (old-school Cuban salsa) and the Pecatonica String Quartet. Ms. Dolphin also teaches at Beloit College and Viterbo University. She has previously taught at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. She completed a Performer's Certificate in Violin Performance (jazz and classical) from Northern Illinois University in 2010, Masters of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 2006 and Bachelor of Arts from Luther College in 2004.
